Fall is on its way. The Golden Rod has been out, grass is dry & you can here its crackle. Humidity is leaving, our days are growing noticeably shorter & our bodies are already prepping for Fall . Enjoy the last smells & activities of summer as the prepping for the change of season begins. I have included some tips of working w/ your own nature & nature itself. I have included some recipes for “Breaking Your Fast ” & Fall fun. Our Annual Cleanse Will Begin on October 9th.   • Head out to @Gratevilleacres for last of summer produce & sage.(#KATECHRISLOVE)
  • Hydrate more than you think . A gallon of water is great. We get a weak appetite , gas , bloating & constipated when dehydrated.
  • Wear clothing layers , our bodies like warmth, even when we think it’s too hot . (Yes Carolyn warmth, LOL)
  • After Labor Day is not a time for “over planning”, stick to your routines that you know work or START NOW, Winter is hibernation.
  • Work in the Subtleties : Pitta people tend to get rashes in Sept, Vata people tend to suffer more w/ the the dryness, Kapha people become alive after the summer’s heat passes. How do you experience Fall?

EGG BAKED AVOCADO


How to Make Egg Baked in Avocado
SERVINGS: 2
PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
COOK TIME: 15 MINUTES
PREPARATIONBAKED


INGREDIENTS 
2 c AVOCADO                             
2 tbsp CILANTRO
1/2 tsp CUMIN
4 whole EGGS
1 whole LIME
2 pinch RED PEPPER FLAKES (CHILI)

PREPARATION OF THIS HEALTHY RECIPE
1. Preheat oven to 450F. 
2. Cut 2 whole avocados in half and remove the stones. 
3. Scrape out the hollow slightly so it is large enough to fit an egg (it’s ok if some eggs spills out!). 
4. Over the avocado halves, add a squeeze of lime juice and sprinkle of cumin powder. 
5. Crack an egg into each of the hollows and place on a baking tray. 
6. Bake for about 15 minutes, until white is fully cooked but yolk still slightly soft. 
7. Remove from the oven and add a pinch of red pepper flakes, lime zest and the fresh cilantro leaves to each.



MULTIGRAIN PANCAKES


SERVINGS: 2
PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES
COOK TIME: 15 MINUTES
MEALBREAKFAST 


INGREDIENTS:
1 tsp BAKING POWDER
2 pinch CARDAMOM
2 pinch CINNAMON
1/2 c MILLET
1/4 c OAT FLOUR
2 pinch SALT (MINERAL SALT)
1/4 c SORGHUM FLOUR
1 tsp SUCANAT
1 tbsp SUNFLOWER OIL
1/4 tsp VANILLA EXTRACT
1 c WATER


PREPARATION OF THIS HEALTHY RECIPE
Mix the water, sucanat, and sunflower oil. Mix together the remaining ingredients in a separate container. Combine. Let sit for 5 minutes. Stir and make pancakes as normal.
Bran is high in fiber and thus supports the colon and regular bowel movements. But wheat is heavy and the griddle can be buttery provoking Kapha dosha.


WHAT IS MULTIGRAIN PANCAKES?
These brancakes are soft and moist with crunchy edges, and fill the whole house with a nutty aroma.
